Mobile chiropractic built for athletes and active adults. Dr. Shaelier Santiago comes to you — no waiting rooms, no commutes, just focused recovery at your location.
Dr. Santiago founded SHAE Chiropractic on a simple belief: elite-level sports care shouldn't require a clinic visit. As a mobile chiropractor serving the Tampa Bay area, he brings expert treatment directly to athletes, weekend warriors, and active adults — on their schedule, at their location.
"The convenience alone is worth it — Dr. Santiago showed up to my apartment and had me feeling better than I have in months. The dry needling was a game changer for my knee issues."
"I've been to plenty of chiropractors before but nothing like this. Mobile, professional, and genuinely knows his stuff. I booked again the same week."
"The cupping and assisted stretching combination he does is unlike anything I've experienced. My flexibility and recovery have improved significantly."

Every service is performed on-site at your location — home, gym, training facility, or field. Five targeted modalities, one mobile provider.
Hands-on spinal and joint manipulation performed by Dr. Santiago to restore proper alignment, relieve compressed nerves, and reduce pain at its source. Manual adjustments form the cornerstone of chiropractic care — improving how your joints move so the rest of your body can function the way it was designed to.
Whether you're dealing with chronic back pain, a sports injury, or general stiffness from a demanding training schedule, adjustments deliver immediate relief while building long-term mobility.
Dry needling uses thin, sterile monofilament needles inserted directly into trigger points — tight, irritable knots within muscle tissue that cause pain, restrict movement, and slow recovery. Unlike acupuncture, dry needling is rooted in Western anatomical and neurophysiological principles, targeting the specific muscular dysfunction causing your symptoms.
The technique causes a brief involuntary twitch response in the muscle, which releases tension, increases blood flow, and resets the neuromuscular signaling that keeps the area locked up.
The Graston Technique is an evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). Dr. Santiago uses specially designed stainless steel instruments to detect and treat areas of scar tissue, fascial adhesions, and chronic inflammation that restrict movement and cause pain.
Originally developed for elite athletes, Graston is now widely used to treat repetitive stress injuries, post-surgical scar tissue, tendinopathies, and conditions that have not responded to traditional treatment.
Cupping uses negative pressure to lift tissue layers away from underlying structures, creating space for blood flow, lymphatic drainage, and cellular repair. Dr. Santiago applies it through a modern sports recovery lens — targeting specific muscle groups that are overloaded, inflamed, or chronically restricted.
The therapy has been popularized by Olympic and professional athletes for its ability to rapidly decompress overused tissue and accelerate recovery between training sessions.
Assisted stretching goes beyond what you can achieve on your own. Dr. Santiago guides each movement, applying precise tension and positional feedback to lengthen muscle groups, open joint capsules, and improve your overall movement quality. Techniques draw from PNF, passive, and active-isolated stretching methods.
Whether used standalone or integrated into a broader care plan, assisted stretching is one of the most underutilized tools for injury prevention, athletic longevity, and day-to-day physical performance.

Credentials
Doctor of Chiropractic — Founder, SHAE Chiropractic
Dr. Santiago didn't set out to open a traditional clinic — because traditional clinics weren't built for the people he wanted to serve. Athletes train in gyms, on fields, and at home. They recover between sessions, early in the morning, and late at night. Building a practice around a waiting room was never going to work for them.
So he built SHAE Chiropractic as a fully mobile practice. He goes where his clients train, live, and compete — bringing the same caliber of care that professional athletes receive to everyday athletes across the Tampa Bay area.
"Elite care shouldn't require a clinic visit. Your location is good enough — that's the whole point."
Dr. Santiago completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with a focus on sports rehabilitation and musculoskeletal dysfunction. He holds certifications in dry needling and the Graston Technique, and integrates cupping therapy and assisted stretching into individualized care plans based on each client's performance goals and injury history.
His approach is rooted in biomechanics and movement science — he treats the movement pattern, not just the site of pain. That means understanding how your hips affect your lower back, how your thoracic spine affects your shoulders, and how the way you train is creating the imbalances that are slowing you down.
Whether you're a competitive athlete managing a chronic injury, a weekend warrior recovering from overtraining, or someone who simply wants to move and feel better — Dr. Santiago builds a care plan around your specific goals, not a generic protocol.
A clinic visit is a barrier. Traffic, parking, waiting rooms — none of that makes you feel better. We remove the friction and bring expert care directly to your door.
Pain is information. Dr. Santiago works to understand what's causing your symptoms — not just manage them — so results are lasting, not temporary.
Every technique used at SHAE Chiropractic is grounded in anatomy, physiology, and clinical research. No guesswork. No generic protocols.
Athletes don't operate on a 9-to-5. We build sessions around your training schedule, game days, and recovery windows — not ours.
No two athletes have the same injury history, movement patterns, or goals. Every care plan is built from scratch based on your specific assessment.
After every session, Dr. Santiago walks you through findings and next steps. No mystery. No pressure. Just clear communication about what's happening in your body.
